# Verify your email

> Verify a new or changed email address and resend the verification message.

Pushctl requires a verified email address before you can open team dashboards, applications, or security settings.

  <Step title="Open the verification message">After registration, select the verification link sent to your email address.</Step>
  <Step title="Resend when needed">On the verification screen, select **Resend verification email**.</Step>
  <Step title="Return to Pushctl">The verified session continues to application onboarding or your dashboard.</Step>

Changing your email address under **Settings** → **Profile** marks the new address as unverified. Select the resend link shown below the email field, then verify the new address.

  If you do not receive the message, verify the spelling of your address under **Profile**, check spam, and allow a few minutes before resending.
