An application is the boundary for platform credentials, application tokens, installations, notifications, and delivery history.

Create an application

Owners and admins can select New application from the applications page. Enter a name and an IANA timezone such as Europe/Amsterdam. The first application uses guided onboarding, where you can configure platforms, provider credentials, and a token together. You can also skip those steps and configure them later.

The overview shows:
  • Configured platform count
  • Active installation count
  • Total notification count
  • Provider credential health
  • The five most recent notifications

Update or disable an application

Open Application settings to change the name, reporting timezone, or status.
A disabled application cannot queue notifications. Re-enable it before sending from the dashboard or API.
One application can include both iOS and Android. Use the same external user ID on both platforms to reach all of that user’s eligible installations.
